Egyptian Association for Comprehensive Development

As an integral segment of society, youth deserve particularly comprehensive care. Social, economic, political, educational and demographic factors are reflected in the makeup and conditions of society, thus affecting the behaviour of youth and their attitudes toward society.

Social and human sciences accordingly focus a great deal of research studying the social circumstances of youth, their societal attitudes and the positive roles they play in society.

According to the latest statistics, youth represent nearly 37% of the total Egyptian population. Many of them do not attend or irregularly attend school. Educational institutes, school activities, and libraries are inadequate or lacking, which prevent youth from exploring new horizons and developing means of self-expression. By giving priority to youth activities, this program provides them with greater opportunities and cultural rights.
